Narrative
SALINE CO., AR – A wrong-way crash between Sheridan and Little Rock on Thursday claimed the lives of two people and left a third injured.
The Arkansas State Police’s preliminary fatal crash summary reports that the driver of a 2021 Chevy Silverado, identified as 30-year-old Michael Stanton, was traveling north on Highway 167 when he allegedly veered left into the southbound lanes. Subsequently, Stanton collided with a southbound 2023 Ford Bronco near Neighborhood Drive.
both occupants of the Ford Bronco, identified as Louann residents Mary Dorris, 73, and Marion Dorris, 76, lost their lives in the accident.
Stanton sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
