Narrative
POINSETT CO., AR – A 28-year-old man, Jon Cody Reeves of Harrisburg, died in a head-on collision in rural Poinsett County early Saturday.
The incident occurred at 6:23 a.m. on on State Highway 14.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Reeves was traveling east when a 1995 Ford Econoline driven by 24-year-old Trenton Dean Crump, crossed the center line and collided with Reeves’ 2002 Chevy pickup truck on the driver’s side.
Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
