Narrative
SUBIACO, AR – A wrong-way crash along a highway in central Logan County killed one person and injured another Saturday.
The incident happened at 3:53 p.m. along Highway 109 in the city of Subiaco, which is north of Cove Lake Recreation Area.
Police say that a northbound vehicle entered the southbound lanes of Highway 109 and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
The wrong-way driver, identified as 22-year-old Jurnee Stanford, died at the scene. Medics transported a passenger from the vehicle the hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the collision.
