Narrative
HOT SPRINGS, AR – A 2-vehilce crash in Hot Springs on Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a motorcyclist and left another driver with injuries.
Police say Michael G. Parrott, a 64-year-old Sherwood resident was riding his Victory VST motorcycle north in the 8900 block of Park Avenue when he veered into the oncoming lanes to avoid a collision with a turning vehicle. Parrott’s motorcycle then collided with a southbound Honda Accord, driven by Paul Oglesby.
Parrott sustained fatal injuries a s a result of the crash. Oglesby was transported to Saline Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
