Narrative
CAMDEN, AR – A fatal accident occurred on U.S. 79 at 11 p.m. Saturday resulting in the death of David Clark, a 27-year-old resident of Camden.
The incident occurred as Clark was driving with an unidentified passenger in his Ford F-150.
Police say Jeremy Burney, driving a Chevrolet Silverado, collided with Clark’s vehicle from the south while Clark was traveling in the northbound lane. The collision caused both vehicles to come to rest within the northbound lane.
Clark sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
Jeremy Burney and his passenger, Bobbie Risher, were injured in the collision and were transported to Ouachita County Medical Center for medical treatment.
An investigation into the deadly crash remains underway.
