Narrative

BENTONVILLE, AR – A 43-year-old woman died Friday from injuries sustained in a solo crash along the interstate in Bentonville.

The incident happened around 10:50 a.m. on the southbound side of I-49 near mile marker 86, which is just east of Bentonville High School.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the woman’s 2017 Ford Edge left the roadway and overturned after hitting both a sign and a concrete bridge support. The vehicle then caught fire.

Authorities identified the victim as Angela Williams of Rogers.

A full investigation is underway.
