Narrative
BAXTER CO., AR – A multi-vehicle crash in the Midway area on Monday claimed the lives of two women and left another driver injured.
The crash took place at about 7:25 a.m. when a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country was southbound on AR-5 near AR-126 and it was hit by a 2005 Sterling truck heading northbound.
Both occupants of the Chrysler, 39-year-old Jennifer Watlington and 40-year-old Sunshine Underhill, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The truck’s driver, 61-year-old Michael Ragland, was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
