Narrative
LAWRENCE CO., AR – A 60-year-old truck driver from Whitworth died last Tuesday in a crash involving two semi-trucks along the highway in east-central Lawrence County.
The incident happened at 5:45 a.m. on US-63 northbound just east of Hoxie. This is about two hours northeast of Little Rock.
Police say that a northbound 2017 Mack tractor-trailer struck the rear of a northbound 2018 Kenworth semi.
The driver of the Mack, identified as Max Arthur Johnson, sustained fatal injuries in the accident and died at the scene.
It’s unclear if the other truck driver sustained injuries.
