BENTON CO., AR – An Owasso man lost his life in a collision with a Freightliner in Benton County, Arkansas, on Tuesday, as reported by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Highway 412 near School House Road.
According to the accident report, William Kyle Hollingsworth, 40, was driving a 2018 Isuzu box truck when it collided with a Freightliner entering the highway from the shoulder. Hollingsworth failed to slow down in time, resulting in his vehicle catching fire and being engulfed in flames.
Hollingsworth suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
