Narrative

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Two fatalities resulted from a head-on collision on the Interstate 430 River Bridge in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to Arkansas State Police.

The collision occurred on the southbound side of the bridge shortly before 5:30 a.m.

The victims were identified as 42-year-old Jerald Hopkins and 24-year-old Adrian Lopez-Torres, both residents of North Little Rock.

The preliminary crash report indicated that Lopez-Torres was driving the wrong way, resulting in the collision with Hopkins’ car.
